Full-Stack Developer (Back-end weighted) | Central Bristol

Full-Stack Developer (Back-end weighted) | Central Bristol | Salary to £45,000 + healthcare, 25 days hol, pension, remote working options

Fancy yourself building and fine tuning a sleek communication platform, working for a SAAS company in Bristol, which is already being picked up by major clients in the UK and US.

In their few years of existence they’ve grown to 10 people, opened a US office and picked up some major clients including Virgin Active, Verizon and Dunkin Donuts. They are about to open a new office in Bristol and plan to grow to 26 people in the next 12 months. That’s mega impressive (in my opinion!).

Their tech stack is currently PHP (Symfony), JavaScript (AngularJS). They have an ionic app although the plan is to migrate this to react-native. They also use modern devops tooling so AWS, Docker, Travis CI are all tools you’ll work with.

This particular role is full-stack although it’s weighted to the back-end so would suit someone who has solid PHP experience coupled with some JavaScript. They’re not hung up on frameworks, naturally Symfony / angular experience would help although they realise that good devs can turn their hand to other frameworks.

Culture-wise they have an open and honest culture where people are encouraged to share ideas and challenge the status quo. They offer flexible working arrangements including remote working.

Salary to £45,000 + a load of great benefits. They are frequents at local pub quizzes and chance and counters and play all the obscure games they have to offer!
