Full-Stack Developer with Lead Capabilities | Bristol

Full-Stack Developer with Lead Capabilities | Bristol

Impactful | Meaningful | Worthwhile

You’re a Full-Stack Developer – over several years you’ve worked extremely hard to hone your skills in JavaScript & PHP. Github, stack overflow, udemy, udacity have made up your most visited pages for months, if not years (asides cute cat images).

You create well crafted, secure code using coding standards that would make your mama proud (or confused). Anyway more to the point, you’re now, by your own admission – great at what you do.

But somethings niggling. There’s something missing.

You’re building software that does what… Gets sold for £££? Makes a company lots of money? Allows companies to track employee productivity? Helps a company sell products? But you long to make a difference…

Impactful | Meaningful | Worthwhile

If this sounds like you and you want to put the skills you’ve worked so hard to develop to good use then I would love to hear from you.

I’m working with a disruptive organisation based in Central Bristol that are leading from the front in terms of protecting our planet. Their platforms and services make reducing your carbon footprint as an individual, household or organisation, straight-forward and painless. They also provide pertinent advice on how people can take advantage of tax incentives linked to their product offering.

They are now looking for a Full-Stack Developer with lead capabilities.

You’ll join a small but growing team who are building a platform that they intend to scale globally. You’ll use a cutting edge tech stack comprising of JavaScript (React) and the LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP – I know you know this already but keywords, keywords, keywords) and Laravel which is their preferred MVC framework.

You’ll come with:

  • Those honed skills in PHP & JavaScript
  • Framework experience – React, Angular or Vue on the front-end and one of the modern MVCs on the back (Laravel, Symfony etc)
  • Experience in developing APIs
  • Great coding standards, naturally
  • Devops – Any experience using Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Nagios or any devop tool will be great
  • Any agile experience would be nice

The benefits:

Well aside knowing what you’re doing is impactful, meaningful and worthwhile, you’ll also get paid well (up to £45,000), get regular bonuses, flexible hours, occasional remote working and a great working environment that will make remote working less appealing!!
