This wonderful company is growing again, and we are helping them find an Infrastructure Automation Engineer- could it be you?
They are a 3-year old start up in the Bristol FinTech scene- forget everything you know or think about FinTech. Forget corporate or boring! They are going against the grain- here is no mega corp fluff here.
They are developing a next generation platform for investment businesses, who are pipped for huge things and have received investment from a well-known entrepreneur, and investors which believe in their mission, AND already valued over £10m!
They operate with a flat structure, there’s very little hierarchy and zero micro-management going on here. They are a super flexible bunch of humans, if the work is completed and to a good standard, you can get it done in any way you like. Whether that’s in the office after lockdown, mainly at home, whatever you prefer!
As they are a startup, no two days will be the same, and you will have the opportunity to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in with loads of aspects of software delivery. This could range from development, to Infrastructure as code, design, performance, operational monitoring, security, all the way through to Infrastructure hardening, and MORE.
For you to be the one for this job, you will have come from an infrastructure background and carry really decent experience in an Infrastructure role. (UNIX, Virtualisation, Networking) in either Software Delivery or Operation Support. You’ll also need really good troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
What is ideally needed (if you’ve used some but not all, please do still apply!)
- Excellent Infrastrucure, networking and secruirtyy experience
- Google Cloud Platform (cloud Infrastructure)
- GitLab (CI/CD)
- Penetration Testing and Audit experience
If you’ve touched on either Go, Prometheus, Grafana, Bazel, Make or Vault, massive bonus but not essential!
You know what to do if this sounds up your street. Submit your CV and I’ll be in touch to discuss 😊 Thanks!
