A highly successful start-up in Central Bristol (close to bus and rail links) are looking for a Lead Developer to take the reins of secure coding practices within their development function.
You’ll be ideal if you are polyglot and have an appreciation/understanding of Java / Ruby / PHP / Python or .net and are an advocate of writing secure code with knowledge of OWASP principles.
They are looking for a lead developer so someone who can support, inspire and teach developers the ways and wonders of secure coding. If you are a Lead Dev and can do this then it’s quite likely you’ll be an effective communicator and know how to hold your own where clients are concerned also (hopefully!)
The crux of the role…
Leading a talented engineering team who will be writing secure applications using any one of the languages mentioned. Naturally you’ll build solid working relationships within the business (including sales, product, UX etc) and use your in depth knowledge of what is trying to be achieved to keep the developer team pulling in the right direction and making product that is flying off the shelves continue doing so.
On offer is a salary to £60,000, 25 days holiday, pension scheme (3% company), flexi working (core hours of 10-3:30pm and at least 1 day remote). You’ll also benefit from a learning fund which you can use to bolster your skills. Asides all this you’ll be in one of the coolest offices in Bristol.
