They’re based in Cheltenham and have a range of clients across gov, defense and financial sectors – they provide cyber security consultancy and their consultants work across a range of projects including Kotlin + Android mobile apps that collect data… to large backend enterprise systems built in Java + Spring boot.
We are looking for a Senior software engineer, your technical skills are important but there aren’t specific requirements that you need other than having the right attitude and willingness to learn and work with new technologies.
You’ll have a main project to focus on for the long term, but also the chance work and help with smaller projects across the research team.
Their tech stack includes: Java, Kotlin, Android, C++, C# and more… it’s a polyglot environment and we’re looking for someone who is excited to step into that.
Any experience leading teams and managing people would certainly come in useful for this role, essentially you are going to be a huge part of moulding and shaping the organic growth of this new dev team. The end goal is that you’ll have several talented software engineers working alongside you in the team that you’ll be helping to manage and lead, whilst remaining hands on with exciting projects.
They are offering a salary of up to £75,000 for this position, you will need to be eligible for DV clearance which means you are a British citizen and have lived in the UK for the past 10 years.
