Software Engineer (Go) Start-up Bristol with remote working.
An early stage start-up who are developing a next generation investment platform, are looking to build up their development team.
There is a highly regarded CTO and Lead Developer in place, lead by a great CEO! The company are out to use technology to improve the way customers access advice and manage their investments by building a web based platform, designed for advisors and their clients.
You be part of the team right from the beginning, a pretty unique opportunity where you’ll be responsible for the initial architecture and development of the various platform modules.
You’ll be working on a large greenfield development and be key in helping to form the design and development of the entire systems.
What you’ll need to know:
- Go or a similar C like language
- Git, Bash
- It would be great if you’ve done some CI/CD
- A good understanding of software design patterns
- Any microservice, containers/orchestration experience would be a plus
The plan is to build a fully remote team although this won’t happen until the initial build is done, until then you will be able to work remotely 50% of the time which will be flexible. Salary up to £60,000, with an annual bonus, pension, health care, 25 days holiday, training budget and a really good allowance to build your own tech setup – A pretty good benefit package for a start up, right?
