Software Trainer! Programming Professor! Coding Coach!
Are you a developer who has an affinity for helping others?
Do you get a buzz in seeing fellow developers nail something complex down to your guidance?
Then perhaps a role within the South-Wests most reputable Training Academy could be for you…
The role is focused on delivering a 16 week coding course to aspiring software developers, and teaching them all they need to know to land their first job as a junior software developer, to kickstart their new careers in programming. You’ll also be tasked with developing the curriculum, assessing applications, running events as well as lots of R&D work to look at new tools, frameworks and technologies.
The ideal candidate:
A Developer with commercial experience who has worked on real life client projects ideally within an Agile environment. You will be a friendly, motivated team player who wants to help people. This coding academy is all about changing lives!
- You will have helped support your team with difficult problems and be happy helping junior developers.
- You will be comfortable programming for the web, with a back-end language, working with current industry standard technologies. Crucially, you will know – or be happy to learn – PHP.
This prolific training academy has been around for nearly 4 years and was created to address the growing skills-gap that is impacting organisations UK-wide. 100% of their students find work within 90 days of leaving the course – that’s one hell of a stat and one they are keen to maintain.
The culture is chilled but curious, conducive to learning.
What you get in return:
A salary between £35-50,000 | Lots of time off during summer and over Christmas | That warm fuzzy feeling you get when helping people | Lots of time for R&D
